Life at the farm | Bees 🐝 Bearding

Here’s a look at our bees bearding outside their hives by 6:45am due to our recent heat wave 🐝

Bearding helps to regulate a bees internal temperature when they are hit and need to cool down.

Often times you’ll see them bat their wings to increase the airflow going into the hives.

Update (7/22/2022): Bee hive ready to swarm on a hot 90+ degree summer day. 🐝
