Our CSA program is 20 weeks starting in June (3rd week) and ending in October (last week). CSA Customers can choose half shares of 10 weeks from June (3rd week) to August (2nd week).

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a relationship between our farm and you as our customer. By selling membership in advance of the growing season, CSA’s reduce the burden of up-front costs for the farmer.

Your membership fees provide a degree of cash flow to purchase seed and fertilizer, repair buildings and equipment & pay weekly labor bills before the season starts. This is a huge benefit to farmers, especially those growing produce, who otherwise have no cash flow & need to work on a budget dictated by the previous year’s harvest during the winter & spring months. This is difficult enough without considering the many unknown expenses that occur each year, especially in terms of equipment maintenance.

Your commitment to a share of the upcoming growing season cannot be appreciated enough; as we will strive to provide ultra-fresh produce with all the flavor & vitamin benefits, exposure to different produce items & interesting ways to prepare them, designated farm visits & tours to see how your produce is grown and the development of a relationship with the farmers growing them.

Seasonal farm grown produce planned for the 2024 growing season includes:

Kale, Swiss Chard, Lettuce, Garlic, Grape Tomatoes, Beef Tomatoes, pickling Cucumbers, slicing Cucumbers, Green Beans, Zucchini, Red and Blue Potatoes, Turnips, Bunching Onions, Sweet Peppers, Onions, Jalapenos, Basil, Sage Parsley, Dill and other Herbs, Blueberries, Blackberries, Apples, Peaches, Nectarines and Chestnuts.

CSA’s are something that many farms offer, but few cater to their CSA members when it comes to the weekly pickup or excess produce that would otherwise end up in the compost pile. We aim to please and try to maximize the diversity of our produce offerings every week!  We have five (5) different varieties of apples starting with Pristine in July, Redfree in August, Liberty in September, Goldrush in October and Enterprise in late October.  All of our fruits, berries, chestnuts and vegetables are all Certified Naturally Grown and all have their own unique flavor.

How does the Autumn Harvest Orchard CSA work?

After purchasing a ‘share’ members visit the farm once a week starting in June to pick-up their freshly picked box of seasonal vegetables, berries and fruits.

Members choose either Wednesday, Friday or Sunday as their pick-up day at the orchard and are asked keep that day through the season. CSA members can pick up their shares from 12 pm through 5 pm on the day.  If on any given week you would like to come on a different day please just let us know via email.
