Here’s a look at Adirondack blue potatoes off to River Ridge Farm and Market. From our farm to your table 🤗

The ‘Adirondack Blue’ is a potato variety with blue flesh and skin with a slight purple tint, released by Cornell University potato breeders Robert Plaisted, Ken Paddock, and Walter De Jong in 2003.

The Adirondack Blue taste very similar to the yukon gold (standard baking potato). You can use this similarly as to whatever your favorite thing to do with baked potatoes is.

One of our favorite ways to eat this potato is to add it to a pork or beef skewer, and roast it on the grill. You can mix the blue and red potatoes together and roast it over a low fire 😋

Another recommendation is to cook the potatoes with clams and lobster. Add 1/2 a can of beer and some ldry red peppers to the pot of clams and it makes the broth and potatoes taste so good.

How will you enjoy yours? 😋
