Pressure Cooker Crock Pot Beef Bourguignon

19No matter the season, some of us LOVE beef stew no matter the weather. Well, a few weeks ago we came across a Slow Cooker (or Pressure cooker) recipe for Beef Bourguignon.

The beauty of this recipe is that you can skip the beef, and make a healthier option by substituting the beef for chicken, or eliminating the meat altogether.

The slow cooker recipe takes about 6-9 hours to cook (depending on your High/Low settings), while the pressure cooker version takes about 1-hour to cook. Prep time is approximately 20 minutes for either version.Ingredients

Meat

  • 5 slices Bacon (finely chopped optional)
  • 3 lb Beef chuck, boneless

Produce

  • 1 lb Baby potatoes
  • 5 Carrots, Medium
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 8 oz Mushrooms, fresh
  • 1 bag of Kale (as much as you’d like)

  • 1/2 cup Tomato sauce

Baking & Spices

We’ve added a YouTube video of the preparation, but you can find the step-by-step instructions, along with a free downloadable beef bourguignon recipe here.
