Pi Day is typically celebrated on March 14th, and it’s a day where many celebrate not only Pi, but mathematics and sciences. Being the son of an Electrical Engineer/Teacher, I have a very soft spot in my heart for Mathematics (and Pi).
Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159.
As you know, Pi also sounds like PIE. Many of us enjoy a good serving of pie as well! So put on your favorite apron, uncork a bottle of wine, get some steak (for dinner) and start baking yourself some delicious deserts!
